Here are the terms and conditions for Pickleball Social.
Cancellations
Here is the cancellation policy for socials, lessons and courses.
Socials
Where a participant wishes to cancel a place for social play, at least 48 hours notice must be given.
In order to cancel, the participant must email daniel@pickleballsocial.co.uk.
A transfer to another session will be offered. If this is declined then a refund will given, minus a £2 admin fee per ticket.
Courses
Where a participant wishes to cancel a place for beginners course, at least 14 days notice must be given so a replacement can be found.
If at least 14 days notice is given, then a transfer will be offered or a refund will be given, minus a £10 admin fee.
If it is 14 days or less then no refund will be given.
If a course has started but the participant cannot make the second or third lesson then a refund will not be given. An alternative second or third lesson may be offered if there is space.
If you want to attend a course but cannot make one of the dates then please email daniel@pickleballsocial as a place may be offered on a pro rata basis if there is space 48 hours before the start of a course.
Private Lessons
A private lesson can be cancelled no later than 7 days before the start of the lesson. If it is more than 7 days and admin fee of £10 will be applied.
This is due to booking freelance coaches for these times.
Court Bookings
Court bookings cannot be cancelled more than 72 hours before the session. This is to give us reasonable time to find a replacement.
Wet Weather
All courses and social sessions will go ahead irrespective of the weather. Play will only stop due to heavy and continuous rain with no sign of stopping and the weather becoming unplayable.
If necessary, coaches will utilise wet weather resources to aid off court learning. • We reserve the right to refuse entry to a course or advise a more appropriate session. • If any participant is found not to be of the correct age/ability, or is unable to complete a course due to being in the incorrect age/ability group, player may be removed from the course without refund. • We are unable to accept replacements of players in lieu of your booking.
In the unlikely event of insufficient numbers, we reserve the right to cancel sessions 1 day in advance. A credit will be applied to the customer’s account and registered participants informed about cancellations via email and text message
