We’re happy to announce that we now have pickleball social sessions at 6-7.30PM on Thursdays in Tooting Bec and a beginners course too. They are held at Ernest Bevin School, Beechcroft Road, London, SW17 7DF.

There is also beginners courses and social play nearby in Clapham.
The beginners pickleball course is every 3 weeks and is a small group of 4. This is suitable for anyone who hasn’t played before or played a couple of times but wants to learn the strategy, where to stand and receive, how to score and the technique on how to hit the shots properly.

Tooting Pickleball Courses
One of our most popular options is our courses. We run structured lessons over 3 weeks that cover the technical skills (serve, forehand, backhand, dinks, volley etc) as well as teaching the rules and tactics of the game.

Private Pickleball Lessons
We also offer private pickleball lessons for individuals and small groups. These sessions start from £55/hour plus court hire. All equipment will be provided. If you have a group of you it can be a great way to have fun.

Tooting Pickleball Socials
Our Pickleball Socials are drop-in sessions for pickleball players who have already played the sport and/or completed our beginner’s course. They are fun and welcoming and a great way to meet fellow pickleballers in SW17.
We arrange doubles for 20 minutes and then redo the pairs depending on the results, winners and losers to ensure balanced games. This ensures a fast-paced session where you get to play lots of pickleball!
Pickleball Courts in Tooting
There aren’t any dedicated pickleball courts in Tooting as it is a relatively new sport in Wandsworth in 2023. In fact, there aren’t that many courts to play pickleball in London full stop. However, it is possible to play on a badminton court but you will likely need to provide your own net. You will also need to mark out ‘the kitchen’ as it is slightly different in size. There are a good number of indoor badminton courts in Wandsworth, especially in leisure centres and school sports halls.
For outdoor pickleball courts again there are no dedicated courts in Tooting. The good news is that you can play on tennis courts, basketball courts, five-a-side pitches etc. The bad news is that you will have to mark out your own court and provide your own nets.
