Pickleball Lessons in Dulwich
We have now launched our Pickleball for Beginners course in Dulwich. It is for anyone over the age of 18 and here are the main details:
- Location is Charter School Sports Hall, 113 East Dulwich Grove, East Dulwich SE22 8PU
- Learn how to play ground strokes, serves, volleys, dinks and drops
- Learn court positioning for serving, returning and when to come in
- Learn the rules of pickleball
- Learn how to score
- Maximum 8 people
- Have some fun and meet new people
- Play at our social pickleball sessions

Dulwich Pickleball Socials
Our Pickleball Socials are drop-in sessions for pickleball players who have already played the sport and/or completed our beginner’s course. They are fun and welcoming and a great way to meet fellow pickleballers in SE21.
We now have 2 pickleball social sessions in Dulwich on Saturday afternoons and Thursday evenings in 2025. There is one improver court and one open court.
We usually arrange doubles for 10 minutes and then redo the pairs depending on the results, winners and losers to ensure balanced games. This ensures a fast-paced session where you get to play lots of pickleball!
Dulwich Pickleball Courses
One of our most popular options is our courses. We run structured lessons over 3 that cover the technical skills (serve, forehand, backhand, dinks, volley etc) as well as teaching the rules and tactics of the game. During the second hour of the lesson we play so you can put into practice what you’ve learnt. We’ll have you rallying in no time.

Private Pickleball Lessons
We also offer private pickleball lessons for individuals and small groups. These sessions start from £75/hour plus court hire. All equipment will be provided. If you have a group of you it can be a great way to have fun.

Pickleball Courts in Dulwich
There aren’t any dedicated pickleball courts in Dulwich as it is a relatively new sport in Lambeth. In fact, there aren’t that many courts to play pickleball in London full stop. However, it is possible to play on a badminton court but you will likely need to provide your own net. You will also need to mark out ‘the kitchen’ as it is slightly different in size. There are a good number of indoor badminton courts in Lambeth, especially in leisure centres and school sports halls.
For outdoor pickleball courts again there are no dedicated courts in Dulwich. The good news is that you can play on tennis courts, basketball courts, five-a-side pitches etc. The bad news is that you will have to mark out your own court and provide your own nets.
