We are now offering a 4 week beginners pickleball courses and social drop-in play at Bromley High School, Blackbrook Lane, Bromley, BR1 2TW on Monday evenings 8.30PM-10PM starting on 20/11/2023.

Social drop-in play is for players who have played before (roughly 5 times), knows the scoring system, serve and returning positions and can rally well. If you’re not sure email daniel@pickleballsocial.co.uk.

The fun beginners course covers requires no previous experience, covers the technical skills (serve, forehand, backhand, dinks, volley etc) as well as teaching the rules and tactics of the game.
- 4 sessions of 1.5 hours
- Learn how to play ground strokes, serves, volleys, dinks and drops
- Learn court positioning for serving, returning and when to come in
- Learn the rules of pickleball
- Learn how to score
- Have some fun and meet new people
- Play at our social pickleball sessions after completed
After the first session you will be able to rally and after the course you will be able to play games, score and stand in the correct positions and be able to attend improver social sessions.

We are looking ideally for badminton courts in BR1 to play pickleball on, so if you are a school, leisure centre or sports club and have courts to hire then please email daniel@pickleballsocial.co.uk.
Pickleball Lessons in Bromley
We now provide Pickleball lessons, courses and private tuition in BR1 to help you learn and improve your game.
You don’t need any previous experience but it is also suitable for those who have played racket sports before.
It’s a fun environment, a great way to meet people and after your course you will be able to attend our pickleball socials.
Private Pickleball Lessons
We also offer private pickleball lessons for individuals and small groups. These sessions start from £55/hour plus court hire. All equipment will be provided. If you have a group of you it can be a great way to have fun.

Bromley Pickleball Socials
Our Pickleball Socials are pay and play drop-in sessions for pickleball players who have already played the sport and/or completed our beginner’s course. They are fun and welcoming and a great way to meet fellow pickleballers in Bromley.
Usually we arrange doubles for 10 minutes and then redo the pairs depending on the results, winners and losers to ensure balanced games. This ensures a fast-paced session where you get to play lots of pickleball!
Pickleball Courts in Bromley
There aren’t any dedicated pickleball courts in Bromley as it is a relatively new sport in Bromley in 2023. In fact, there aren’t that many courts to play pickleball in London full stop.
However, it is possible to play on a badminton court or a tennis court but you will likely need to provide your own net and court markers. You will also need to mark out ‘the kitchen’ as it is slightly different in size. There are a good number of indoor badminton courts in Bromley, especially in leisure centres and school sports halls.
For outdoor pickleball courts again there are no dedicated courts in Bromley. The good news is that you can play on tennis courts, basketball courts, five-a-side pitches etc. The bad news is that you will have to mark out your own court and provide your own nets.
